Our "Mission"The three associations are groups of like-faith sister churches. Each church is autonomous, and participates in the Association, the Louisiana Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We believe that our associations, conventions, and the Missions and Ministry Center are a means of fellowship and support to the local church, providing vital resources, and assistance to the churches when needed, though not exercising authority over the local church. This association of Churches and Brethren has a side benefit of allowing churches, with fewer resources, a vehicle to find ministry support and assistance whenever the need arises. Even though we are diverse in some ways, we are doctrinally united, networking to accomplish for Christ, together, what we cannot do alone. To put it in the words of one writer, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts". We believe we are stronger as a result of our fellowship.
